Colm manages the in-house orthodontic laboratory and is the senior orthodontic technician in Prosmile Laboratory. He has a BSc. Hons in Human Biology and Infectious Diseases and a BSc. in Dental Technology. Colm joined Colm Smith Dental & Specialist Centre in 2016. Prior to joining Colm Smith Dental, Colm worked in the Royal Preston Maxillofacial and Orthodontic Laboratory for 4 years.
Colm is now based between the Royal Preston Hospital, Poole Hospital Maxillofacial and Orthodontic Laboratory and Colm Smith Dental. He is currently undertaking a Masters in Maxillofacial prosthetics and rehabilitation from Kings College London, and travels to India every year for training.
Clinically Colm is interested in colour science, digital dentistry and 3d printing of silicone.
Outside of dentistry Colm enjoys GAA, rugby, boxing and DIY.
