Eadaoin graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2011 with distinctions in Oral Surgery, Paediatrics and Prosthodontics. After completing her vocational training year in Carryduff, on the outskirts of Belfast, she moved to Glasgow and completed a 6-month endodontic placement in Glasgow Dental Hospital. This was followed by a 6-month placement in community dentistry, treating children and special care patients.
After returning to Northern Ireland in 2013 she moved to Derry and worked in a dental practice in the city until joining us at Colm Smith Dental Practice at the start of 2018. Eadaoin completed her membership examinations and was admitted as a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2013, and is awaiting her final results of a four-year Master’s degree in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at King’s College London.
Eadaoin has a special interest in all aspects of restorative dentistry, particularly composite bonding, and crown and bridgework.
Originally from Belfast, Eadaoin now lives in South Down with her husband, Colum, and pet Labrador. She includes Pilates, photography and painting amongst her hobbies.
